Plant characteristics:
- Patented trilobal connection
- Platform switching
- Longitudinal furrows
- Micro-grooves on the collar
- Cylindrical conical shape
- Surface dma full
Platform switching is based on the use of a stump with a smaller diameter than that of the fixture. It allows the implant-abutment junction margin to be moved toward the center of the implant axis. This method allows for the formation of a thicker gingival cerclage, thus achieving significant advantages in terms of biological sealing around the abutment for natural aesthetic results.
Longitudinal grooves along the implant body facilitate its insertion into the osteotomy site and help discharge tensive forces, gases, fluids and bone debris created during screwing, promoting coagulation and thus increasing the osseointegrating surface, resulting in improved integration and primary stability.
The end of the collar (0.6 mm) is treated and acts as a sealing plug, preventing germs and bacteria from entering the site at the crestal level.
The DMA surface, obtained by physical-mechanical treatments (sandblasting with controlled particle size materials) and subsequent chemical treatments (double acid-etching with time-controlled passivation), makes the surface nanoporous, allowing better osseointegration.
These features make the CV3 implant ideal for any situation, including immediate loading with stable ridge and post-extractive sites, where implant placement a few millimeters below the ridge is recommended.
NB: The adoption of this implant line involves the use of prosthetic components that are different from the other lines in the BTLock system.
